Ms. Mandy Mitchell
Mandy Mitchell has been teaching in Brownsville for ten years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas Pan American and an endorsement in English as a Second Language. She she stays up-to-date with the latest research in pedagogy and curriculum. She knows that teaching is her "calling" and continuously adapts her teaching to the needs of each student. She encourages student participation and questioning.
Class Descriptions
Ms. Mitchell's English classes focus on vocabulary development, literary elements and techniques, critical analysis, the writing process, preparation for state tests, and preparation for upper classes and college.
